Throughout the day, Adam must go the House floor to debate and vote on legislation. Sometimes Congress will spend all day debating just one bill; other times, they may work as many as twelve or thirteen bills. Although votes are usually completed by 8:00 or 9:00 p.m., sometimes they can last past midnight.
