Budget Town Hall

June 4, 2023 01:00 PM

There has been a lot of talk these days about our national debt. We must raise the debt ceiling to avoid a disastrous default. We also need to be having honest conversations about what our budgetary policies should be. At the upcoming budget town hall, Rep. Adam Smith will break down our national budget and take your questions about government spending and revenue, how we got to this point, and what our fiscal policy should be going forward.

When: Sunday, June 4 at 1:00 - 2:30 PM PT
Where: Kent Senior Activity Center, 600 East Smith Street Kent, WA 98030

A strong budget lifts up low- and middle-income households and invests in economic growth. We need to have realistic conversations about how we can achieve that and how much it will cost. I hope you will join us for this budget town hall.
