  • Crisis Text Line — Text HOME to 741741 to connect with a free, confidential Crisis Counselor. Available 24/7 for anyone in crisis or just needing to talk.
  • Back-to-School / Youth Resources from Crisis Text Line — Text SCHOOL to 741741 for free, confidential mental health support. Available 24/7 for students navigating stress, anxiety, or crisis.

Local & Regional Resources

  • King County Crisis Services (988 / Regional Crisis Line) — Call the Regional Crisis Line at 206-461-3222, to reach trained crisis counselors 24/7 — including mobile crisis teams that can respond in person anywhere in King County.
  • King County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services — King County's full behavioral health hub — mental health treatment, substance use services, recovery support, and crisis response.
  • Connections Kirkland — Walk-in crisis care center open 24/7, offering mental health urgent care, stabilization, and post-acute services for adults, plus youth urgent care by appointment. — (425) 650-4005.
  • Consejo Counseling & Referral Services — Culturally and linguistically appropriate mental health, substance use, and family services for Latinx, BIPOC, and underserved communities, with locations across the region. (206) 461-4880.
  • Refugee Women's Alliance / Center for Social-Emotional Wellbeing — Multicultural, multilingual counseling and emotional support for immigrants and refugees, with offices in Kent and SeaTac offering in-person and remote care.
  • Sea Mar Behavioral Health — Community mental health and chemical dependency services, including individual, family, and group therapy, case management, and inpatient care, with locations including Bellevue, Kent, Federal Way, and Seattle. Serves clients regardless of income, immigration, or citizenship status.
  • Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care — Nonprofit mental health and substance use disorder care for King County, including 24/7 crisis services, youth and family programs, and the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic for post-9/11 veterans and their families. (253) 833-7444.
  • Youth Eastside Services (YES) — Mental health counseling and substance use treatment for youth birth–22 and their families in East King County, regardless of ability to pay, with offices in Bellevue, Kirkland, and Redmond. (425) 747-4937.
  • King County Client Services Line — Call (206) 263-8997 to access follow-up care and support after a crisis (Medicaid required). 

Veterans-Specific Resources

  • Seattle VA Medical Center — Call 206-762-1010 to schedule mental health care, psychiatry, or PTSD treatment. For a psychiatric emergency, call 206-764-2610 (daily, 7 a.m.–11 p.m.) or go to the Emergency Department, open 24/7.
  • Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Valley Cities — Call 253-215-7070 to schedule confidential therapy for post-9/11 veterans and military families. Cost is never a barrier to care.
  • VA Mental Health Services — Call 877-222-8387 (Mon–Fri, 8 a.m.–8 p.m. ET) to get connected to the right VA mental health resource, whether or not you're enrolled in VA health care. 
  • Veterans Crisis Line — Call 988, then press 1, or text 838255, for free, confidential crisis support, 24/7. You can also chat online at veteranscrisisline.net
