Surface Transportation Reauthorization Request Form

Every few years, Congress passes legislation to reauthorize federal surface transportation programs, setting national funding levels and policy priorities for highways, transit, rail, and safety. The upcoming reauthorization, expected by the end of FY2026, will guide how the federal government invests in infrastructure that supports mobility, economic growth, and safety across the country. Congressman Smith is seeking input from local governments, transit agencies, and other stakeholders to inform our priorities in this process. To be considered, submissions must be received by Thursday, May 29th at 5:00 p.m. ET.
