Please join the office of Congressman Adam Smith for a conversation about how to identify common online, mail-in, and over the phone scam attempts to keep yourself safe. We'll be joined by expert panelists to share their insight on avoiding scams and fraud.
The Office of Congressman Smith will host a Youth Resource & STEM Fair for 6th-12th graders and their caregivers. Attendees are encouraged to get connected to resources, workforce development opportunities, and STEM opportunities serving WA-09.

Why: To provide constituents information on low to no cost assistance for filing taxes. The event will include panelists from United Way of King County, AARP, Taxpayer Advocate Service and the IRS.

My office will be hosting an Energy Efficiency Webinar on Wednesday, December 10th at 10 a.m. PT.
We will be joined by representatives from Spark Northwest, Puget Sound Energy, and Washington State Department of Commerce’s weatherization team.
The webinar will discuss energy efficiency and weatherization amid winter weather, including the specific programs provided by Washington state and our regional utilities to help save on costs.
