Rep. Smith Announces FY 2025 Community Project Funding Requests for the Ninth District

May 22, 2024

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Representative Adam Smith (D-Wash.) released the following statement announcing the 15 Community Project Funding requests he submitted to the House Appropriations Committee for consideration in the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 appropriations bills.

“Community Project Funding requests are an important way to send federal dollars back to our communities and support initiatives that are making a real difference in the lives of our constituents. I am thrilled to announce the 15 community projects I selected for consideration in the FY 2025 appropriations process – projects that will invest in affordable housing, workforce development and job training, public safety, economic development, and transportation and infrastructure. These projects respond to the needs of our region by building more affordable housing, deploying public safety and emergency response teams, improving pedestrian and biking routes on I-405, and more. I will continue working with local leaders and organizations to get this funding across the finish line and make our region a better place to live.”

See below for the full list of Rep. Smith's Community Project Funding requests for FY 2025.
