The Office of Congressman Adam Smith is hosting a series of workshops focused on federal grants for Washington’s 9th Congressional District. This three-day series will provide information on where and how to find federal grants, how to use the federal reporting system, and what resources are available to nonprofits and small businesses. NDAA Town Hall with Congressman Adam Smith
Last month, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) was signed into law. As Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, Congressman Smith played a central role in passing this bill that creates 12 weeks paid parental leave for all federal employees, repeals the unjust “widow’s” tax, and addresses our national security needs while supporting military personnel and their families.
