July 27th Update: The Senate continues to debate proposals to dismantle health care for tens of millions of Americans. Following potential Senate votes on Friday, July 27th, it was possible that the House could remain in session over the weekend to vote on health care legislation.

Based on an abundance of caution, I have decided to reschedule my town hall from Saturday, July 29th to instead take place on Saturday, August 12th. Community meetings like these are an important opportunity for me to hear directly from my constituents about the issues they care about.
