Grants Workshop

Don’t miss this FREE opportunity to learn best practices when seeking grant opportunities from the following agencies:

-Nonprofit & Philanthropy Resource Center, King County Library System (KCLS)-

-National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH)-

-Economic Development Administration (EDA)-

This event offers constituents that represent non-profits, small businesses and community organizations a window into federal grant processes. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions concerning grants and to find out what services and funding resources may be available to them. Those who will benefit from this workshop include grant seekers that are new to the federal grant process and those looking to brush up on their skills.

Due to limited seating, we request that all participants register in advance.

Grants Open House

Please save the date for a Grants Open House that I will be hosting this Wednesday, April 15th, at 1pm at my Renton District Office.  Representatives from the Census Bureau and the King County Library System (KCLS) will also be there to answer questions. .  This will be an opportunity to make appointments, ask about resources and meet the agencies who can assist you in looking for funding.  For further information, please contact Shakisha Ross, Grants Coordinator, at (425) 793-5180, or email at shakisha.ross@mail.house.gov.

Congressman Smith to Host Town Hall in Renton

Ninth District Congressman Adam Smith will host a Town Hall on March 11, 2015 in Renton.  Congressman Smith is looking forward to meeting with constituents and hearing all questions and concerns. The Congressman will be hosting more town halls around the 9th District this year and if you'd like to sign up for town hall updates, register here.
