Each year, Congressman Smith nominates several outstanding young men and women each year to the United States military academies. The academies provide an excellent education and an exceptional opportunity to serve our country.

Please join our Academy Night to learn the process to apply and obtain a congressional nomination to the U.S. Service Academies. We will have a panel of representatives from all Service Academies sharing information about enrollment process and their perspectives on Service Academies.

Congressman Adam Smith is hosting a virtual panel discussion with leaders from community-based organizations about the nationwide mental and behavioral health crises and how we can improve our response to the crises and advance solutions.

Are you interested in exploring a career in technology? My office is hosting a Tech Fair on Saturday, April 22 at 1:00 PM for individuals interested in learning more about opportunities in the tech industry. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from a panel of tech professionals about the many paths available to those pursuing a career in this growing field. The event will also feature networking opportunities, a resource fair, a celebration of the Ninth District's 2022 Congressional App Challenge winner, and a showcase of all contest submissions.

Congressman Adam Smith invited constituents to attend his Government Procurement Workshop to learn how to bid on government contracts and meet with government agencies.

This summer I traveled to Ukraine to meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and soon I’m hosting a town hall to discuss the trip and what I learned, my ongoing work in Congress to support the people of Ukraine in their fight against Russia, and the status of the conflict broadly. 

You’ll hear from me directly about my recent trip and have a chance to ask me questions during a Q&A session with the Ukrainian Association of Washington State.
